Simple Battery Circuit Description

Simple Battery Circuit

The simple battery circuit has 2 main components, a battery and a light bulb, that are connected by wires.

The battery is a normal D cell cylinder shape with the negative terminal on the bottom and the positive terminal on the top.

The wire from the negative terminal connects to the side of the light bulb stem and the wire from the positive terminal connects to the bottom of the light bulb stem.

Electrons flow out of the negative end of the battery and through the light bulb, causing it to light up, and back into the positive terminal of the battery.
