After living in their home fow a while up in Blue Springs, MO, the Duckworths became tired of their spiking electricity rates. THE SYSTEM:

26 Panels:
The given number of panels will provide the Duckworth’s residential home with clean, green electricity that they get to own for themselves. This 9.36 Kw system is just enough power to offset the home’s electricity bill all while keeping them protected from rising energy rates.

The panels chosen for this residential home are the highly efficient, Alpha black 360w panels produced by REC Solar. The REC Alpha black panels are revolutionary solar panels that achieve incredible levels of efficiency, power, and strength. They are the one of the world’s highest power 60-cell solar panels that can convert a greater amount of sunlight to electricity. With 120 HJT cells, REC combines the benefits of N-Type monocrystalline silicon solar cells with those of thin film technologies for much higher efficiency and energy yield, even at higher temperatures. On top of their high performance metrics, the Alpha black panels also obtain a sleek design that will pair nicely with the Duckworth’s modern-style home.

Inverter:
The inverter chosen for this project was the 7,600h SolarEdge Inverter. The SolarEdge PV inverter combines sophisticated digital technology with efficient power conversion architecture to achieve superior solar power harvesting and the best-in-class reliability.

Roof-Mount System:
This particular project called for a roof-mount solar system. Roof-mount solar systems are the most common, and they are ideal for customers who have southern-facing roofs and a limited amount of land to install a ground-mount system. In this particular install, the Duckworth’s system went on the back of their roof. The system is only visible to them and their backyard neighbors, leaving it open to the sun and out of sight to the rest of the neighborhood.
